Organically Epic Charcoal Infused Peppermint Vegan Dental Floss - Review*

Organically Epic is a multi-award-winning business, launched in 2015, founded and owned by Jayne Clark-Denyer and Karon Robertson (a Daughter and Mother duo). Organic and Natural Dental has always been a love and passion of Jayne's so it was only natural that Organically Epic would launch their natural dental collection. All of our products are sustainably made and ethically sourced. Approved under PETA'S beauty without bunnies campaign, Vegan, Biodegradable, Recyclable and our toothbrushes are made of mature bamboo that is Panda Friendly.

Charcoal infused peppermint vegan dental floss is a must for any dental routine. The charcoal will help brighten and lift stains from between your teeth whilst the peppermint essential oil will help freshen breath. With 30 metres of floss, this sustainable gum lover will last you an average of 3 months if you use it once a day. Dentists recommend using floss as part of your regular dental routine, flossing every evening to prevent bad breath, sore bleeding gums and gingivitis. How to dispose of your floss and packaging The floss will need to go in your general recycling. It is not biodegradable but it is a much better alternative to conventional floss. The glass tube and aluminium can be recycled but, feel free to purchase our floss refills and reuse the glass and aluminium packaging The cardboard kraft packaging can be recycled or put in your compost for breakdown.

Since getting my braces off a few weeks ago, I've wanted to get back into flossing as I couldn't really achieve it with my train track braces on. I came across the Organically Epic Charcoal Infused Peppermint Vegan Dental Floss on Love Lula and thought it looked great due to its low waste. The floss is presented in a glass jar which I think is great, as you can refill it again and again. I found the floss easy to use, just like any other floss really. Although, this floss is slightly different to your usual floss, as it tastes of peppermint which I find very refreshing.

I love the Benecos Nail Polish brushes as they're flatter than most brushes I've used before, meaning you can coat your nail with polish almost in one go. This Benecos Natural Nail Polish in Vintage Red from Love Lula is a classic pink-red. I personally find this shade needs two coats to get full coverage. The nail polish removes well without staining my nails too much, which is always a hassle with darker shades!

Benecos Natural Matte Liquid Lipstick in Bloody Berry - Review*

For a long time, natural cosmetics had a bland, generic look, limited product choices and, generally, high prices. However, this is no longer the case because at Benecos we offer bright, modern, cruelty-free products all at affordable prices. Our products are natural and organic and our makeup range is filled with a variety of colours, so say goodbye to dull and boring and hello to the vibrant and dynamic world of Benecos colour cosmetics!

A bold matte lipstick with a lightweight, velvety texture and non-drying formula of this lipstick has been enriched with castor oil to nourish and hydrate the lips.

I absolutely love the shade of this Benecos Natural Matte Liquid Lipstick from Love Lula. I'm not a big fan of matte liquid lipsticks as I don't like the overly dry feeling on my lips, but Blood Berry seems to be more moisturising than other liquid lipsticks that I've tried in the past. It also goes great with a clear lip balm underneath it for extra moisture. I find this shade lasts a good amount of time before needing to apply it again. It's also very easy to remove and doesn't stain anything, considering how dark the shade is!

Organyc Intimate Wash with Chamomile - Review*

Intimate Wash with Chamomile contains a blend of gentle and organic natural ingredients which include extracts of Calendula, Cornflower and Aloe Vera to gently cleanse, soothe and protect your intimate area. Suitable for sensitive skin. No alcohol, no chlorine, no parabens and no SLS.

I like using products that are specially made for certain areas and nowhere else. So when I came across the Organyc Intimate Wash with Chamomile from Love Lula I was looking forward to trying it out. Firstly, the bottle is a great size and shape to keep in my shower and the pump is an added bonus. The gel does smell of Chamomile which I'm not too keen on, but luckily it isn't too overpowering. I personally find that two pumps of the wash are the perfect amount per wash for me, meaning this 250ml bottle will last me a good few months. Overall, the gel foams up nicely giving me a gentle and refreshing clean all over.

BeBarefaced Anti-Blemish Moisturiser - Review*

At BeBarefaced we’re committed to helping achieve barefaced confidence through the power of natural ingredients. While we may appear playful, we take our formulations very seriously. If we don't think it’s natural and doing some good then we don't add it in! All our products are made with precision and care to deliver a category-leading performance worthy of your trust. Our high performing formulas focus on carefully selected natural ingredients combined with antioxidants and essential oils, ensuring that our products are honest, natural and effective.

Target stubborn breakouts and blemishes fast with this treatment moisturiser packed with antioxidants and natural ingredients. This moisturiser has been specially formulated for adult acne and blemish-prone skin, with its rich creamy formula providing moisturising and anti-ageing benefits as well as targeting blemish-prone problem skin. Salicylic acid gently exfoliates deep inside the pore to effectively draw out impurities while tea tree oil works as natural antiseptic flushing out toxins. Hyaluronic acid enriches the skin with moisture and vitamins C and E correct and repair damaged skin. Providing deep hydration for blemish-prone skin is essential, as without moisture the skin overcompensates producing more oil and thus more spots!

I'm always a little worried when it comes to trying out a new face moisturiser, as they always tend to leave my face feeling more oily than it already was! I was pleasantly surprised when this wasn't the case with this BeBarefaced Anti-Blemish Moisturiser from Love Lula. The cream itself is easy to rub in and soaks in well without leaving any residue. It also moisturisers my skin really well, without making my skin feel really heavy, making it perfect for day and night time use. Overall, I'm really happy with this product and I look forward to using it more in the future.

Those Bambi Salon Two Week Vegan Express Lashes - Review

The Bambi salon is where you can enjoy a quiet, home-based, cruelty-free and vegan salon experience either in Gravesend or in Hartley, Kent. Better for you, better for the environment and better for the animals. The team is made up of two vegan sisters, Gina and Danielle who are on a mission to help make us feel amazing using only ethical and moral brands. Bambi even has a gang that you can sign up to as well. You'll get loads of vegan beauty information including an exclusive #GangPerks offer sent to your inbox every month. They also have a private group on Facebook where you can ask absolutely anything and chat with other members.

Danielle is our lash extension fairy. She loves creating perfect lashes for you to wake up to every, single morning so it's time to get yourself cosy on our super soft blankets and let her work her magic. Danielle understands that 'perfect' is different for every single person so we have a little something to suit everyone. Award-winning, premium quality, lash extensions in 5 different curl types as well as different thickness' and colours. If natural is more your kind of perfect, we also offer lash lifts. One of our most popular and low maintenance treatments to date.

I've had a fair few treatments done at the lovely home salon in Hartly from false lashes to gel toenails. And I've actually managed to try out most of the false lashes that Danielle has available. Danielle kindly took some photos of my lovely looking lashes so I could write another review about these specific lashes the great Bambi Salon.

Two Week Express Lashes £35

If you want the look of a full set of extensions but don't want the maintenance, then Express lashes are for you. The look is created using the same high-quality individual lashes but the process of application is different and quicker. This means they last for two weeks before needing to be removed completely so are perfect for holidays or events. A patch test is needed if you have never had the treatment with us before- your eyes are precious.

I've never been very good at applying false lashes, so when I came across the Vegan Bambi Salon over a year ago now, I loved the idea of someone applying them for me instead. The whole lash experience is a great pick me up and I like to get mine done for any special occasions that I have. This time I needed my false lashes for a long weekend away for a Wedding, so I went for the Two Week Express Lashes. For the first twenty-four to forty-eight hours, you're advised to not get your lashes wet due to the glue still bonding your lashes together. So please keep this in mind when getting your lashes done before any special occasions. For me, my lashes last around four to five days if I go out partying in them, but with extra care, they should last around under twos weeks. Danielle is great at applying all different types of lashes and I'm always happy with the outcome that she's achieved for me!

BeBarefaced Anti Blemish Mattifying Toner - Review

At BeBarefaced we’re committed to helping achieve barefaced confidence through the power of natural ingredients. While we may appear playful, we take our formulations very seriously. If we don't think it’s natural and doing some good then we don't add it in! All our products are made with precision and care to deliver a category-leading performance worthy of your trust. Our high performing formulas focus on carefully selected natural ingredients combined with antioxidants and essential oils, ensuring that our products are honest, natural and effective.

Our anti-blemish toner is specially designed for unbalanced, blemish-prone skin. Formulated with soothing, natural antiseptic tea tree to calm and sanitise congested skin, protecting from further breakouts. Pore minimising salicylic acid helps clear pores, eliminate excess oil and prevent spots. With only natural alcohols, to ensure that it is non-drying and non-irritating. Moisturising glycerin ensures skin is correctly hydrated, preventing that unpleasant ‘overly dried’ feeling. Leaves skin with a silky - smooth, matte finish and prepared for optimal application of further blemish treatment products.

This BeBarefaced Anti Blemish Mattifying Toner from Love Lula leaves my skin feeling clean and soft after use. The toner is a great pick me up for when your skin is feeling a little heavy or greasy throughout the day. I also like using it before I apply a face mask as it makes my skin super clean before I apply the mask. My only problem with this product is that I would prefer a spray bottle to the pour lid that currently has, as a lot of the toner seems to come out at once.

BeBarefaced Anti Blemish Exfoliating Wash - Review*

At BeBarefaced we’re committed to helping achieve barefaced confidence through the power of natural ingredients. While we may appear playful, we take our formulations very seriously. If we don't think it’s natural and doing some good then we don't add it in! All our products are made with precision and care to deliver a category-leading performance worthy of your trust. Our high performing formulas focus on carefully selected natural ingredients combined with antioxidants and essential oils, ensuring that our products are honest, natural and effective.

Our anti blemish exfoliating wash is specially designed to gently treat and prevent stubborn breakouts and blemishes. It provides a gentle exfoliation that won’t leave your skin red and upset. Formulated with soothing, natural antiseptic tea tree to calm and sanitise congested skin, protecting from further breakouts. Pore minimising salicylic acid helps clear pores, eliminate excess oil and prevent spots. Gently exfoliating pumice stones help remove dead skin cells and prevent blemish scarring. Never harsh, drying, stripping or scratchy. With only natural alcohols, to ensure that it is non-drying and non-irritating for sensitive skin types. Skin is left feeling tingly clean, balanced and refreshed.

My skin's reaction to facial washes is very hit and miss, but when I came across this BeBarefaced Anti Blemish Exfoliating Wash on Love Lula it sounded perfect for me. I've enjoyed using this facial wash in the evening to give my skin a good deep clean before I go to sleep. My skin is left feeling clean and very soft after use, but be careful not to rub too hard, as the exfoliating beads are pretty coarse and I found this can cause slight redness. I find that this facial wash is perfect for oily skin, due to it containing pore minimising Salicylic Acid and Tea Tree which is a great antiseptic. The only downside that I found to this product is that the bottle's pop up lid is a little messy to use, because of this I would recommend using a pump instead.

BeBarefaced Mud Mask - Review*

At BeBarefaced we’re committed to helping achieve barefaced confidence through the power of natural ingredients. While we may appear playful, we take our formulations very seriously. If we don't think it’s natural and doing some good then we don't add it in! All our products are made with precision and care to deliver a category-leading performance worthy of your trust. Our high performing formulas focus on carefully selected natural ingredients combined with antioxidants and essential oils, ensuring that our products are honest, natural and effective.

Our cult favourite mud mask is the ultimate skin clearing treatment. Dead Sea mud and kaolin clay work to remove impurities, oil and congestion. Willow bark a natural form of salicylic acid works to gently refine pores removing dead skin cells for velvety matt clear skin. Feel the mask at work boosting circulation and targeting blemishes. Naturally formulated with mint and eucalyptus for an invigorating, skin awakening experience.

I came across this BeBarefaced Mud Mask on Love Lula earlier this month, having not used a mud mask for a while this one really caught my eye. I was a little worried when I read that the mask may cause a slight redness to the skin, so I applied the mask a lot thinner than I usually do. Even though I thinly applied the mask, it still worked its magic on my skin. I found the mask dried evenly across my face and was easy to wash off in the shower. My skin felt super smooth and soft after use and I'm looking forward to using the mask again. I also love that the mask itself smells of sherbet sweets!

Professionally formulated, high coverage shades with a volumising, gel-like texture; and an extremely glossy finish that does not fade. Tyrian solid, lilac shade. Apply two coats to clean, prepped nails, ideally after a Base Coat. Follow with a Top Coat for maximum lasting cover.

I chose this GLOSSWORKS Nail Polish in shade Tyrian to review from Love Lula this month as it matches a bridesmaid dress that I'll be wearing later this month. This nail polish is a really pretty colour and is a great shade for the Springtime. I find that the nail polish applies well but it does need two coats for full coverage. The polish itself removes easily and leaves my nails stain free which is great. I'm looking forward to wearing this nail polish with my bridesmaid dress as it matches so nicely and compliments my dress.

Professionally formulated, high coverage shades with a volumising, gel-like texture; and an extremely glossy finish that does not fade. Last Mango in Paris is bright orange in colour. Apply two coats to clean, prepped nails, ideally after a Base Coat. Follow with a Top Coat for maximum lasting cover.

I was kindly sent an extra item to review for Love Lula this month. I ended up choosing the GLOSSWORKS Nail Polish in shade Last Mango in Paris from their new range of colours. I went for Last Mango in Paris as I thought it would be a great colour to use in the Summertime (when it actually arrives in the UK that is!). The nail polish itself applies well but you definitely need two coats for full coverage. I also find that this nail polish is really easy to remove, which isn't always the case with bright colours as they can get super messy. I'm happy to say that I'm in love with this very Summery colour and I can't wait to wear it against a Summer tan!
