Lovea Argan Oil Cell Renewal Body Scrub - Review*

Scrub those worries away!

This vegan and cruelty free Lovea Bio Body Scrub with Argan Oil is formulated with orange peel, sugar and argan oil to gently exfoliate and promote cell renewal. Moroccan Argan Oil is a powerful anti-oxidant and is also a great UV protector. Lovea blends Argan Oil with other natural ingredients to make formulas that fortify the hair and skin. It also helps exfoliate excess skin without drying the skin and when applied to the skin Argan Oil increases elasticity, nourishes and helps to normalise the skin. Argan Oil is also a 100% natural skin food and with regular use it will keep your skin in tip top condition!

I've been using this rich orange smelling scrub that MyPure kindly sent to me for reviewing purposes for a few weeks now and instead of using it on my body I've been using it on my face. This scrub is a very thick feeling product and it has a lovely texture due to the large grains of sugar and the orange peel that are mixed together in the scrub but it does have a strange smell which I'm not to keen on. I was a little worried when I felt how oily the scrub was as I had intended to use it on my face rather than my body! It left my face feeling very soft and dry skin free, but also quite greasy and oil heavy. I really loved using the scrub on the rest of my body though as it left it silky soft and I think it's much better suited for the body than the face! With this scrub you would 100% expect the grains to be rough when rubbing the scrub onto your face or body, but because of it's thick and creamy texture there's none of that harsh gritty scrub feeling you can sometimes get with other brands. When using this scrub in the shower I feel that I don't need a lot of this product for it to cover the whole of my face due to it's very thick and creamy texture. And as you don't need to use lot of this product at one time, this tube should last me quite a while and due to this I think it's really worth the money!

Overall I don't think I'll be buying this scrub again as I feel like it's a little to heavy for my oily skin.

Dr Organic Tea Tree Antispetic Cream - Review

'Zap those spots away!'

This natural vegan and cruelty-free soothing cream contains antibacterial Organic Tea Tree Oil, combined with Aloe Vera, Sunflower Oil and Cocoa Butter to provide an effective and cooling cream. The unique properties of Tea Tree ensure that this cream can be applied to large areas of skin, making it ideal for cleansing minor irritations and problem skin. With its gentle cooling action, the Dr.Organic Tea Tree Cream is safe to use on insect bites, irritated and sun damaged skin.

I've been using this antiseptic cream by Dr Organic for my spots for a few months now. When it gets to that chilly time of the year my skin tends to get very dry (but still prone to spots), so I prefer to use a cream based spot treatment at this time of year. Besides the dry skin, I tend to have quite oily skin too, so I only need to use a small amount of this cream as it can become quite thick and oily based due to the Cocoa Butter. When used day and night the cream really seems to calm and soothe both my spots and dry skin which is great. And for the price of this tube you're really getting your money's worth as a little does go a long way! I'll definitely be repurchasing this cream again when that chilly time comes around again next year.
